Basic microbiology gives an idea about the microorganisms and its classification. different methods of sterilization through which a surface or medium can be freed from all kind of microorganisms. This course also gives basic knowledge about the instruments used in the microbiology laboratory, for example autoclave, hot air oven, microscopes etc. Different microbiological techniques like pure culture isolation, biochemical reactions etc also can be seen in this course. 

The course is designed to give an introduction to pathology study. The module includes a   brief overview of the pathology field and the introduction of some commonly used histopathology techniques. Theoretical discussions that focus on cellular adaptation to injury, inflammation, wound healing, necrosis, and neoplasia will form the foundation of pathology. This knowledge can then be applied to diagnose human diseases. Histopathology techniques and several staining techniques will help to reveal the different stages of diseases conditions
